Georgia Fair Pay Act

Amends Chapter 5B of Title 50 of the O.C.G.A. by adding a new code section 50-5B-6 to require the state accounting office to pay or cause to be paid all undisputed invoices received electronically within 15 days of receipt and any undisputed invoices presented in printed form within 30 calendar days or pay interest at a 12% per annum rate when the invoice is paid later than specified.

The bill also contains provisions for dealing with invoices which are disputed in part or in whole in a timely manner.
